I love getting to know people and finding out how their health and lifestyle has led them to where they are today. Through a combination of specialist tools, including Metabolic Balance and Functional Medicine, I figure out what’s preventing people from losing weight naturally, and help them to boost their energy and self-confidence while reducing illness, symptoms and dis-ease. I believe that there is no ‘one size fits all’ diet and lifestyle plan, so each of my clients receives a nutritional programme that includes detailed health analysis, medical testing and personalised eating plan, plus recipes to suit their unique biochemistry, lifestyle and cooking skills.

Hi, I’m Pippa, and not that long ago, I felt just like you.

I struggled with IBS, hormonal imbalance, PMS, exhaustion and stress. My back and neck ached and I lived on cakes and lattes! I began yoga and started eating a healthier diet but my health issues returned after the birth of my two children. I’d had enough. This wasn’t the healthy life I expected.
 
 

But then a nutritionist in London changed my world.

After making some simple, yet profound, changes to my diet and lifestyle and taking some supplements, I finally felt free. I was able to enjoy my life and food and create a new way of eating and living that would turn out to be the best thing I ever did. 

Why? Because it led me to being here today, as a Nutritionist, Weight Loss Specialist, Metabolic Balance Coach and, most importantly, a practitioner in Functional Medicine.

I’ve invested thousands of hours in deepening my knowledge and strengthening my skills so that I can help more people get to the root cause of their health and weight issues so they too can live a full, vibrant life and begin to enjoy eating again.

While many of my clients come to me for weight loss issues, I’m finding more and more people are suffering with undiagnosed inflammation, autoimmune conditions and chronic fatigue.

 
 

This is where Functional Medicine is the real golden key to success.

Diet and lifestyle can do a lot, but finding out the reason why your body is inflamed at a cellular level (and causing silent damage to your organs) is the absolute game-changer!

That’s why my approach brings together healthy eating, lifestyle and mindset with medical testing and scientific analysis using Functional Medicine and Metabolic Balance.

It’s a multi-pronged approach that will help you achieve your optimum health and vitality. 

 

I completed Pippa’s 21 Day Plan three weeks ago and cannot believe the difference in how I feel! I did it for two main reasons; shift the left over baby weight and to get more energy/focus. And it worked! The weight came off easily and steadily and after the initial few days of natural ‘detox’ effects coming off sugar (namely Maltesers!) I found I had so much more energy, the afternoon slump vanished and my mind has much more focus and clarity. The meal plan was easy to follow as well, and I’m continuing to eat this way as I just feel so much better all round! I can’t recommend this three week blitz enough!

What is Functional Medicine?

Functional medicine emphasises a definable and teachable process of integrating multiple knowledge bases within a pragmatic intellectual matrix that focuses on functionality at many levels, rather than a single treatment for a single diagnosis. Functional medicine uses the patient’s story as a key tool for integrating diagnosis, signs and symptoms and evidence of clinical imbalances, into a comprehensive approach to improve both the patient’s environmental inputs and his or her physiological function.

The Institute for Functional Medicine teaches health care professionals how to apply these principles in practice through an intensive five day training course called Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice™.

I attended and completed the AFMCP™- UK training in London in 2018  and am a member of The Institute of Functional Medicine. 

What is Metabolic Balance?

Metabolic Balance is a three-month natural weight management programme that uses nutrition and lifestyle guidelines to reset your metabolism and hormone levels (including insulin) to help your body reach its natural weight. It offers fast results and long term success. Blood tests are used to determine the foods that are best suited to your biochemistry and a bespoke plan is created for you by your Metabolic Balance Coach. Metabolic Balance does not sell additional supplements, meal replacements or food items. Everything prescribed for you is available at local supermarkets.

I completed my Metabolic Balance training in 2012 and am delighted to have had so much client success with this method.
