Metabolic Balance seed mix breakfast smoothie

This is a quick and easy breakfast smoothie. Any vegetables or fruit that are on your food list can be used but this is my favourite combination. Avocado makes it creamy, spinach is very mild and cucumber is really hydrating. I love pears in a smoothie but soft fruits work well too.


  • 1 portion seed mix or mandalade (reserve 2 tsp to eat first)

  • 1 portion vegetables (avocado, cucumber, spinach)

  • 1 ripe pear, peeled and chopped

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (Phase 3)

  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)

  • Filtered water


  1. Eat the 2 tsp of reserved seed mix to adhere to the protein rule. Put all the ingredients in a blender or nutribullet and enough water for desired consitency. You can add an ice cube if your blender can handle it.

  2. Blend until smooth and drink straight away.

  3. NOTE: omit the coconut oil for phase 2
