Chia seed and oat summer porridge

Despite their tiny size, chia seeds are among the most nutritious foods on the planet. Loaded with fibre, protein, omega-3 fatty acids and various micronutrients.

Recipe makes 2-3 portions 
In a medium glass bowl mix the following 


  • 4 tablespoons chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 1/2 cup flaked almonds (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla paste/powder

  • 2 cups soya or full fat yoghurt 

  • 1 cup almond, soy or coconut milk(if using from a tin just use the coconut milk not the cream on top)

    Cover and store in fridge overnight.
    In the morning put one portion in a bowl. Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup and fresh fruit.
