Chocolate Avocado Mousse



  • 125 nut milk 

  • 3 Medjool dates, pitted

  • 1 ripe avocado, stoned and peeled

  • 30g cacao powder

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract or 1/4 tsp vanilla powder

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon 

  • pinch sea salt

  • strawberries to serve


  1. Warm the nut milk in a pan until almost simmering.  Add the dates and set aside to cool or transfer to the fridge.

  2. Once cool blend the dates and milk in a blender or NutriBullet.

  3. Place the avocado in a food processor and pulse about 6 times.  Add all the other ingredients and process until smooth and creamy.

  4. Divide between two coffee cups and chill in the fridge for 1-8 hours then serve with the strawberries.
