Lamb Kofta

Serves 4


  • 500g lamb mince

  • 1 crushed garlic clove

  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped

  • 3 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

  • Black pepper

  • Coconut oil for frying 

Serve with my Spinach Tahini Dip that I sent out last week.


  • Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.  Scoop out about 2 tablespoons mixture and form into sausage shapes.

  • Heat a griddle pan or frying pan with some coconut oil and cook the Kofta for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally. They could also be grilled on a BBQ.

  • Serve with salad and Spinach Tahini Dip.
