Pippa Campbell Health practitioner offering the food sensitivity test — IgG food sensitivity testing clinically interpreted

What is the food sensitivity test?

Food sensitivities are not the same as food allergies. IgG-mediated reactions are delayed, sometimes by 24 to 72 hours, which makes them difficult to identify through food diaries or elimination alone. The Food Sensitivity Profile identifies immune reactions to a broad range of foods, providing clear information about which foods your immune system is responding to and which are most likely to be contributing to your symptoms.

When bloating, skin inflammation, joint pain, fatigue or brain fog are present but no clear dietary trigger has been identified, this test often reveals the connection. Clinically interpreted, the results allow us to build a strategic elimination and reintroduction protocol that is specific to your findings rather than generic.

What’s included

  • IgG food sensitivity blood test assessing reactions to a comprehensive range of foods
  • Clinically interpreted results — not just a report of reactive foods
  • 30-minute Zoom results consultation covering your findings and a guided elimination and reintroduction plan based on what we find

What is involved

A finger-prick or venous sample is taken to assess IgG antibody levels across a comprehensive food panel. The test is straightforward and the kit is posted to you with full instructions if finger-prick is used.

Results identify which foods are producing an immune response and at what level. Your PCH practitioner will review the full report and your results consultation translates those findings into a practical, clinically grounded plan. This is not a list of foods to cut out forever. It is a structured approach to identifying what is currently triggering inflammation, reducing that load, and reintroducing foods systematically once the gut has been given the opportunity to recover.

This test is best used alongside gut health testing when IBS or digestive symptoms are significant, and often forms part of a broader protocol when hormonal symptoms have proved resistant to other interventions.

Food sensitivity test, Frequently Asked Questions

What is the food sensitivity test?

The food sensitivity test at Pippa Campbell Health is an IgG food sensitivity blood test that identifies immune reactions to a comprehensive range of foods. Unlike food allergies, IgG-mediated reactions are delayed by 24 to 72 hours, making them difficult to identify through food diaries or elimination alone. The results are clinically interpreted and used to build a strategic elimination and reintroduction protocol specific to your findings.

How much does the food sensitivity test cost?

The food sensitivity test is priced at £525. This includes the IgG food sensitivity blood test, clinically interpreted results and a results consultation covering your specific reactive foods and a guided elimination and reintroduction plan based on what we find.

How is the food sensitivity test different from a food allergy test?

A food allergy test measures IgE reactions, which are immediate and often severe. The food sensitivity test measures IgG reactions, which are delayed — sometimes by 24 to 72 hours — and produce subtler but persistent symptoms such as bloating, brain fog, skin inflammation and fatigue. This type of reaction is rarely picked up by standard allergy testing.

Should I do the food sensitivity test alongside gut health testing?

The food sensitivity test is best used alongside the GI Map gut health test when IBS or digestive symptoms are significant. It also often forms part of a broader protocol when hormonal symptoms have proved resistant to other interventions. Your PCH practitioner can advise on the best combination for your specific symptoms.
