I am hugely invested in using DNA testing as part of my nutrition packages. Having a DNA test is absolutely the best way to find out exactly how your body responds to and metabolises certain nutrients. It will tell you if you’re predisposed to certain conditions or food intolerances/allergies and will help identify your personal nutrient requirements. We are all as unique as our DNA and what our bodies need to perform reflects that.
Your DNA never changes so you will only ever need one DNA test. After your test (a quick cheek swab – no needles!), your results will be analysed, and during the consultation we will discuss what your DNA tell us about you. We will also chat about any personalised food/supplement/lifestyle options based on your unique genetic profile.

HORMONES DNA TEST + SUPPORT PACKAGE – £399.00
This test looks at the steroid hormones progesterone, oestrogen, testosterone, DHEA, and cortisol (and their derivatives). The results will show which oestrogen detox pathway a woman favours which can indicate risk of hormonal imbalances such as fibroids, endometriosis, hormonal headaches, heavy periods, acne, PMS/PMDD. Many of these markers can’t be tested in functional tests. For example, we can see how well a woman might convert testosterone to oestrogen which could cause low testosterone and too much oestrogen. This would be especially important for a woman on testosterone and oestrogen HRT. We can also see why a woman might be at risk of PCOS or understand root cause of it. Progesterone sensitivity is another reason why a woman might want to do this test.

You’ll receive a detailed analysis of your reports with a PCH Lifecode Gx Registered nutrigenomics specialist. They will carefully explain what your results mean and recommend nutrition and lifestyle interventions as well as answer any questions you may have.
NOTE: We do not provide written guidance during this analysis call, so you should prepare to make notes whilst you speak to the practitioner.
This session focuses solely on the results of your DNA report. Due to the time constraints, we are unable include any other test results you may be waiting for. Please ensure you have booked another consultation here with your practitioner to discuss them.
If you have already booked a separate New Client Consultation you may want to move this to after your DNA consultation as it will give your practitioner greater insight into you, which will help them give you more comprehensive advice.
Results are delivered 4-5 weeks from the point of purchase.
READ ABOUT YOUR LIFECODE GX DNA TEST KIT
To collect a sample of cheeks cells from which DNA is extracted and analysed. It takes just 1 minute to collect the sample, place the swab in the test tube with the stabilising table, compete and sign the consent form and place everything in the return packaging provided. The test is not impacted by HRT, contraceptives, pregnancy, nutritional supplements, exercise or any other environmental factors.

Samples are anonymised by allocation of a bar code.
Your data – including personal data, raw genetic data and reports – is not, and will not be shared or sold to any third party.
