Chocolate Tofu Bowl with Cherries and Coconut

Cacao may increase levels of serotonin, the feel-good hormone, due to the serotonin and L-tryptophan it contains. Cherries contain melatonin, the sleep hormone.

Serves 1 - Metabolic Types (Di, I, C, De, O, S)

Ingredients

  • 50g organic silken tofu

  • 2 tsp raw cacao powder

  • 1 tsp flaked almonds

  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes, toasted

  • 30g cherries, fresh or frozen,
    de-stoned

Method

  1. Blitz the silken tofu and cacao together in a blender or mini food
    processor until smooth, then transfer to a serving bowl.

  2. Add the flaked almonds, coconut flakes and cherries on top.
